Hey there! Today, I'm going to show you how to build a crate inside the Crate Hackers desktop app. It's super easy, just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Open the Crate Hackers app on your computer. Click on "All Crates" on the left-hand black toolbar. Find the crate you want to build, and click on it to open it up. You can also search for a crate by going to the top of the app and typing in the name of a crate you want to look for in the "search for a crate" box.

Step 2: The app will automatically match the songs you have on your hard drive to the songs in the crate. If there's a song missing, uncheck it and go to "Pools" to see who has it. Then, click on the song and download it. Make sure you have scanned your music library first. If you need help with this, check out this tutorial.

Step 3: To add the downloaded song, go to "Add Local Files." Find the song in your music folder and click on it to import it into the crate.

Step 4: Check each song in the crate to make sure it's correct. If you don't want a song included, simply uncheck it.

Step 5: When you're ready to download, you can download to M3U. This will allow you to import the crate to Rekordbox, Traktor, or Serato if you're using an external hard drive. We recommend this for all versions of Serato.

Step 6: You can also export directly to Virtual DJ, Serato, or "Save My Playlist." If you click on "Save My Playlist," it will save the crate into your playlist so you can come back and work on it later.

That's it! Building a crate inside the Crate Hackers desktop app only takes a few minutes and is super simple. So, go ahead and have some fun with it!

Remember, using the Crate Hackers app to build your crates allows you to organize and manage your music more efficiently. It also makes it easier to find the songs you need when you're DJing. So, start building your own custom crates today!
