Are you tired of manually inputting song requests into your DJ software? We've got you covered! With DJ Event Planner and Crate Hackers, you can easily export songs from DJ Event Planner and import them into your software of choice. In just a few simple steps, you can streamline your music planning process and make your life easier. Let's dive into how to do it.

Step 1: Navigate to the Music Tab in DJ Event Planner

To get started, log into your DJ Event Planner account and click on the "Music" tab under "Manage Event Planning". This is where you can access all of the songs requested by your clients.

Step 2: Copy Artist and Title Fields

Next, highlight and copy the Artist and Title fields for the songs you want to export. You can do this by selecting the text and using the shortcut "Ctrl+C" on Windows or "Cmd+C" on Mac.

Step 3: Paste into a Spreadsheet

Now, open up an Excel or Google Sheet document and paste the Artist and Title fields into separate columns. This will allow you to organize and manipulate the data as needed.

Step 4: Use Crate Hackers Text Importer

In the Crate Hackers desktop app, navigate to the "Apps" section and select the Text Importer. From there, you can give your crate a name (such as "Wedding 3/22") and paste in the Artist and Title fields from your spreadsheet.

Step 5: Select the Closest Match

The Text Importer will attempt to match the song data to existing songs in the Crate Hackers database. Select the closest match from the dropdown menu to ensure accurate importing.

Step 6: Remove Header (Optional)

If the first line of your spreadsheet contains header information (such as "Artist" and "Title"), you can deselect it in the Text Importer to avoid importing it as a song.

Step 7: Generate Crate or Start Over

Once you've selected all of the songs you want to import, you can generate a crate or start over if you need to make any changes. And that's it! You've successfully exported songs from DJ Event Planner and imported them into your DJ software with Crate Hackers.

By following these simple steps, you can save time and effort in your music planning process, allowing you to focus on delivering an unforgettable experience for your clients. So why not give it a try? Start exporting your songs today!
