For macOS Catalina and up using the Music app


Are you a DJ looking to import your Crate Hackers crate into Djay Pro? You've come to the right place! In just a few simple steps, you'll be able to access your Crate Hackers playlists from within Djay Pro. Follow the step-by-step tutorial below to learn how.


Note: Only purchased Apple Music and local music files can be accessed on djay Pro app. Songs available via Apple's Streaming service Music are not available.


Step 1: Export your Crate Hackers crate to an m3u file.

Open up the Crate Hackers app and select the crate you want to import into Djay Pro. Choose "export crate to m3u" from the menu, and save the resulting m3u file to a folder on your computer.


Step 2: Open the Music App and drag the m3u file into your library.

Open up the Music and locate the m3u file you just saved. Simply drag the m3u file into your iTunes library, and the Crate Hackers crate will be added to your Music playlists.


Step 3: Access your Crate Hackers crate in Djay Pro

Open up Djay Pro, and click on the "Music" tab, this appears as a red note/. You should see your Crate Hackers crate listed there, under playlists,  ready to use in your sets.


That's it! With just a few simple steps, you can import your Crate Hackers crate into Djay Pro and start using it in your DJ sets. Happy mixing!
