Overview

One of the biggest problems DJs face is duplicates. Some DJs have hundreds, others have thousands — cluttering searches, causing errors, and slowing you down.

The AI Duplicate Killer in Crate Hackers v11 is the world’s first smart duplicate removal tool designed specifically for DJs. It helps you quickly identify and clean up duplicate tracks while protecting the versions you actually need.

As you resolve duplicates, your Library Health Score will increase, helping you keep your collection lean, reliable, and performance-ready.

Accessing the AI Duplicate Killer

  1. From your CH11 Dashboard, run a Library Scan.

  2. On the homepage, click Duplicates.

  3. You’ll see a list of duplicate tracks grouped together.

How It Works

  • Suggested Track: The system marks the version we recommend keeping (usually the best quality).

  • Delete Selected: Choose the true duplicates and click Delete Selected to safely remove them.

  • Ignore Group: If you want to keep both (for example, a Clean and Explicit edit, or a Short vs. Full version), click Ignore Group to bypass that duplicate set.

Key Features

  • AI-Powered Suggestions: Crate Hackers identifies which version is most likely the best quality.

  • Fast Clean-Up: Delete multiple duplicates in just a few clicks.

  • Safety Controls: Use Ignore Group to prevent removing versions you still want.

  • Library Health Score: Every resolved duplicate raises your overall score.

Future Improvements

We’ve heard from members who want a “Delete All Duplicates” button. We’re working on it — but we want to make sure it’s safe before rolling it out.

Future updates will include:

  • Checking if a duplicate track exists in your crates before deleting

  • Looking at play counts and other metadata to protect your important versions

  • Expanded integrations (currently Serato + VirtualDJ, Rekordbox coming soon)

Example Use Cases

  • Cleaning up multiple remixes of the same track (e.g., only keeping the Redrum you actually play)

  • Removing low-quality or broken files that cause errors mid-set

  • Boosting your Library Health Score in preparation for a big gig

  • Streamlining searches so you can find the right track faster

FAQs

Q: Can I undo a deletion?

A: Not inside Crate Hackers. Once deleted, it’s permanent — so use Ignore Group if you’re unsure.

Q: Will Clean/Explicit or Short/Full edits always be flagged as duplicates?

A: Sometimes, yes. That’s why we built the Ignore Group feature so you don’t lose useful versions.

Q: What DJ software is supported?

A: Duplicate detection works for your full library. Current integrations include Serato and VirtualDJ, with Rekordbox coming soon.
