Overview
One of the most popular features in Crate Hackers v11 is the ability to import any public Spotify playlist and instantly turn it into a performance-ready crate.
Instead of manually rebuilding a playlist, you can bring it straight into your library, match it to your files, and export to your DJ software in seconds.
Accessing the Spotify Import Tool
From your Crate Hackers dashboard, click Spotify Import.
Or go to Crate Builder → Import from Spotify.
Copy the URL of any public Spotify playlist.
Paste the link into the tool and click Import.
How It Works
Crate Hackers will pull all songs from the Spotify playlist.
Each track is automatically matched against your local library.
Any missing tracks can be pulled from record pools, streaming services, or purchase links.
Once matched, you can export the full playlist as a DJ-ready crate into Serato, Rekordbox, VirtualDJ, and more.
Key Features
Fast Imports: Paste a playlist link, get a crate instantly.
Track Matching: Connects to songs already in your local library.
Fill Gaps: Easily find missing tracks via pools or streaming.
Export Ready: Push directly to your DJ software of choice.
Example Use Cases
Turning a Spotify “Top 50” chart into a quick gig crate
