Export a small test crate first. The tracks must be matched to real files on this computer or a connected music drive.
Export
- Open the crate in the Crate Hackers desktop app.
- Check each local match and the version of the song you want.
- Save your work in Serato and close it before writing library changes. Never interrupt a live set to do this.
- Choose Serato in Crate Hackers’ export controls and follow the prompts.
- Reopen Serato, locate the crate, check the count and load several tracks.
If direct export does not work
Keep the exact error. A useful alternative is to export an M3U, open Serato and drag that playlist into its left-hand crate/library area. Then confirm the track count and playback.
Keep the music drive connected if the files live there. A successful-looking export does not prove every track was included.
If tracks are missing
Compare the expected and actual counts and follow the missing songs guide. Avoid deleting your Serato database, rebuilding everything or repeatedly overwriting a working crate to troubleshoot.
