If you cannot log in or forgot your password, you can reset it from the Crate Hackers desktop app.
Important: Use the same email address you used when you signed up for Crate Hackers. If you enter a different email, the reset may not work.

This article shows you how to reset your Crate Hackers password.
Use this guide if:
- You forgot your password
- Your login is not working
- You need a fresh password reset link
- You are not receiving the reset email
Step 1: Open the Crate Hackers desktop app
Open the Crate Hackers desktop app on your computer.
If you have not installed the app yet, download it here:
Once the app is installed, open it and go to the login screen.
Step 2: Click Forgot Password
On the login screen, click:
Forgot Password
This opens the password reset process.
Step 3: Enter your email address
Enter the email address you used to register your Crate Hackers account.
Then click:
Reset Password
Make sure there are no typos or extra spaces in the email field.
Tip: If you signed up with one email and try resetting with another, the system may stare back at you like you asked it to solve a family mystery.
Step 4: Check your email
Crate Hackers will send password reset instructions to your email.
The email should come from:
help@cratehackers.com
Open the email and follow the reset instructions.
If you do not see the reset email
If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, check these folders:
- Spam
- Promotions
- Updates
- Other
- Junk
You can also search your inbox for:
- Crate Hackers
- Password reset
- help@cratehackers.com
If you still do not see it, try the reset again and confirm you entered the correct signup email.
If the reset link does not work
Password reset links may expire after a period of time.
If the link does not work, go back to the login screen and request a new reset email.
Use the newest reset email, not an older one.
Good rule: If you requested multiple reset emails, use the most recent one. Old reset links can stop working.
If you still cannot log in
If you reset your password but still cannot log in, check these first:
- You are using the correct email address
- You are typing the new password correctly
- Caps Lock is not turned on
- You are logging into the Crate Hackers desktop app
- Your internet connection is working
- You have installed the latest version of the app

If you still cannot reset your password or log in, email:
Include this information so we can help faster:
- The email address you used to sign up
- Whether you received the reset email
- Whether the reset link opened
- Any error message you saw
- Whether you are on Mac or Windows
- A screenshot, if possible
The more specific you are, the faster we can find the problem.

The main idea
To reset your password, open the Crate Hackers desktop app, click Forgot Password, enter your signup email, and follow the reset instructions sent to your inbox.
If the email does not show up, check spam and search for help@cratehackers.com.
If you are still stuck, contact support with your signup email and any error message you see.
