Crate Hackers can export matched local files to a VirtualDJ playlist. Keep the music drive connected through export and playback.
Export and test
- In the Crate Hackers desktop app, open the crate and review its local matches.
- Choose the VirtualDJ export option and read the completion or error message.
- Open VirtualDJ and locate the new playlist in its browser.
- Check the track count and load several tracks to confirm the files and versions are correct.
If the playlist does not appear
Save the crate as an M3U in an easy-to-find folder. Use VirtualDJ’s file browser to locate and open the saved playlist. Browser and playlist labels can differ between VirtualDJ versions.
If a track will not load
Check the referenced music file in Finder or File Explorer. Reconnect its drive if needed. A playlist contains file references, so moving the M3U alone does not bring the music with it. Follow the missing songs guide.
If the exported count is wrong, keep a screenshot of the crate and the export result. Avoid renaming or deleting your original music folders as a troubleshooting step.
