The current AI duplicate cleaner helps you choose which copies to keep. Removed copies go to the Crate Hackers Recycle bin.
Before you start: back up your music and DJ library data, connect your music drives, and close Serato DJ before cleanup. Do this away from a live set.
Review a small batch
- Open Tools → AI duplicate cleaner.
- Read the overview. Some sets are suggested for cleanup; others need your review.
- For sets that need review, choose Review them one by one. Check the file location, length, quality, cues and version before choosing a keeper.
- Skip any set you are unsure about. A clean version, explicit version, remix and intro edit may all be worth keeping.
- Confirm only the cleanup you intend. Review the result and test important tracks and crates in your DJ software.
Do not treat a suggested duplicate as proof. Grouping uses track information; it is not a guarantee that two files contain identical audio.
Put a track back
- Open Tools → Recycle bin.
- Find the removed file and choose Restore.
- Review the result and check the track in your library and DJ software.
Keep the recycle bin intact while checking your results. Permanently deleting or emptying it removes this recovery option.

Reply to your existing support email or contact support. If a useful edit is missing, stop cleanup and include the song name, original location if known, and any restore error. Send what you have; you do not need to diagnose the problem first. Never send passwords, reset links or full payment details.
