Download the installer for your computer from the official Crate Hackers page.
Choose the correct platform
- Mac: the download page lists macOS 12 or later. Use Apple menu → About This Mac to check macOS and whether your Mac uses Apple silicon or Intel, then choose the matching installer.
- Windows: use Windows 11 for the current supported setup. Do not treat a successful Windows 10 installation as confirmation of support.
An operating-system minimum is not a performance guarantee. Large libraries, external drives and other apps can affect scanning and responsiveness.
If the app will not install or open
- Record the exact error or warning.
- Confirm that the downloaded installer matches your computer.
- Check available storage and finish a normal installation before launching.
- If the problem continues, contact support with the details below before buying a new computer or making major system changes.
Keep security protections enabled. Avoid changing your operating system or installing an unfamiliar build immediately before a gig.

Reply to your existing support email or contact support. Include your operating-system version, computer model, Mac chip if applicable, installer filename and exact error. Tell us whether the problem is installation, launch, scanning or export. Send what you have; you do not need to diagnose the problem first. Never send passwords, reset links or full payment details.
