Use the official Crate Hackers download page. Its address still contains “ch11,” but it is the current download and setup page.
Install the desktop app
- Choose Mac Apple Silicon, Mac Intel or Windows. On a Mac, Apple menu → About This Mac shows your chip or processor.
- Mac: open the downloaded disk image, drag Crate Hackers into Applications, then launch it from Applications. Windows: run the downloaded installer and complete setup.
- Sign in with the email address connected to your purchase and your Crate Hackers password.
Success looks like: the app opens to its Home screen or setup questions.
If you cannot sign in
Check the purchase email for spelling and extra spaces. Use Forgot Password? on the login screen if needed. Follow the password reset guide. If you already paid and the app asks you to purchase again, contact support before buying again.
If installation stops
Check the computer compatibility guide and confirm the installer matches your computer. If you see a security or compatibility warning, capture its exact wording and contact support. Keep your computer’s security protections enabled.

Add your music folder and let the first scan finish. Start with one folder you use regularly.
